Trademarks:

Law: Law on Intellectual Property Rights No. 82 of 2002 (Book 2).
Classification: International Classification for goods and services. A separate application has to be filed for each class. to be filed for each class.
Duration: A registration is for 10 years and renewable for similar periods. A 3 months grace period is allowed for renewals.
Use: Non-use for 5 years following registration makes the registration vulnerable to cancellation.
Assignment: A registration can be assigned but with goodwill and business concerned.
Licensing: Recording of a license is mandatory.
