| Duration: |
Patents of Invention are granted for 20 years and renewable for a period of no more than 5 years. A Certificate of Utility is granted for 10 years and is renewable for a period of no more than 5 years. Patents relating to processes for making pharmaceutical preparations are granted for term of 10 years. |
| Annuities: |
Payable annually on pending applications and granted patents. Payment should be made within the last 3 months from the anniversary of the filing date.
